Over 12 Million Euros for Düsseldorf Researchers

DÜSSELDORF. The Union of German Academies of Sciences and Humanities is supporting two research projects in North Rhine-Westphalia with over 12 million euros. Beginning in 2014, the Union will support Bonn professor Nikolai Grube’s work on a dictionary of the ancient Mayan language and Cologne professor Karl Ubl’s work on editing Franconian capitularies from the Early Middle Ages, the Union of Academies communicated on Tuesday.
